When I wrote this song, I just wanted people to feel comfortable in their own sexy.. sexy & beautiful comes in any color, shape, or size! Beauty has always been and will always be in the eye of the beholder…

Produced by Pascal Guyon. The cover (shot by Johnny Young and Designed by Justin Dewalt) was inspired by my hero Tim Burton (Edward Scissor Hands, Nightmare Before Christmas).. i left the faces out because i wanted whoever looked at the various bodies to actually picture themselves being in that photo. Less about facial beauty and more about the beauty of the imagination.

This video is the most special out of all of my videos simply because i had no clue that it was even being made. One of my die hard fans named Goldas Smith who is also a 3.0 GPA student did a class project that took 5 months to finish and the outcome was a completely animated music video of my song Galactic 2 which is a fan favorite off of my Gravity mixtape that was released in January. She hesitantly sent me the link in a DM thinking i would hate it and as soon as i watched it my mouth fell to the floor. I am really proud of her for her efforts and still cant believe she was passionate enough about the Steph Jones brand to spend 5 months on this particular project.

The video features Steph Jones, who acts as Shontelle’s inattentive love interest that loves her, but is far too focused on his own music career to give her the love and attention she needs.

I had completely forgotten about it until I checked my email this morning and low and behold discovered a genius work of art. Many of my frands have always asked me to do a video for La La and little did I know, one of the mighty Frands was already making it happen! Its a song that I remade to show that when its your true calling you are to be the best you can in order to inspire others..which will bring people together. When me, Jordin Sparks and B Scott were marching with those drums I imagined us being on the frontline in a war and it was my way of saying that it doesn’t matter if you are man, women, gay or straight… We should all be able to come together and fight for a certain cause no matter who you are.. And once we trully figure that out then that’s when we grow as a people
